The contract involved the construction of a 60 MW underground power station.
Concrete Pumps cc supplied 3 No. SEM 250 trailer-mounted pumps with accessories for concrete pumping and steel fibre wet shotcreting. SEM also supplied 2 dry guniting machines for use in the pressure tunnel.

The contract involved the installation of a concrete cut-off wall at the base of the dam and extensions to the spillway.
Concrete Pumps cc supplied a SEM 500 Concrete Placer Pump with accessories.
15 000 m³ of concrete was pumped into the extension of the spillway in less than 6 months. The pipeline was an extremely difficult one for pumping as the pump was positioned on top of a hill and pumping had to be done down a very steep decline intercepted halfway down by a horizontal section.
